I understand that hockey wants to gather fans, and that lots of fans love a good fight, but those are not the fans the NHL needs. Any true hockey fan loves the sport because of the speed and agressiveness of the players. I love hard, bone-raddling hits as much as the next guy, but they must be clean. The NHL needs better fans, so stop getting people excited about penalty minutes and fighting. Can you believe penalty minutes are a POSITIVE point category in most fantasy hockey leagues?

I have not seen this in other sections. It just seems people are more uptight in the hockey section.

And no I’m not talking about everyone, just the majority.

I thought about asking this question in the hockey section, but I know I won’t get any decent answers.
Also note that I am a ******** hockey fan, so I’m not making fun of hockey fans.

My husband and I simply thought these would be “our people” and most of them seem uptight, ignorant, or whiney.
